The father daughter dance is such a sweet and special tradition. Some fathers and daughters have a perfect song that means something to them or represents their relationship. If you don't already have a song in mind for your father daughter dance, here is a list of some favorites that are often used because they fit the occasion so well. The songs are sentimental and sweet, and the lyrics have been carefully inspected for their relatedness to a father-daughter relationship, or to the sentiments of your wedding day, between a father and daughter. Enjoy!

This is a very original idea for a blog, way to be creative. Since your blog is all about music, maybe you should include links to music or youtube videos of the songs you are suggesting. I read somewhere that having more links helps with being found by various search engines....
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, that's a great idea! I have a page with playlists, but I didn't even think of linking the songs to youtube videos - great idea! And congratulations on being the first person to comment on this blog. :) You are appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMy father and I are dancing to "In My Life." =)
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Thanks CarlyAnne! I love that song. Both my dogs are named after Beatles songs because I love them so much. (The Beatles, I mean... and also my dogs.)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I am sure I will be directing my clients here! I love how many suggestions you give in each post.
ReplyDeleteThank you that would be amazing!! Actually the inspiration for the blog was that there are so few sites out there with comprehensive, yet easy to navigate lists of music for weddings! So that's the goal. :)
