For those of you who want to have a traditional ceremony, classical music would naturally be your choice. I am a big fan of contemporary music, but traditions are around for a reason, right? Right. Below is a list of the most popular and well known classical pieces for weddings, as well as some lesser known pieces that can also be used. All of these can be used at your discretion, either during the prelude (as people are getting seated), the processional (when the wedding party comes down the aisle), the entrance of the bride (self-explanatory), the recessional (when the bridal party exits the ceremony), or the postlude (as the guests leave). They can also be used for communion, a candle lighting or sand ceremony if you choose to include these during your wedding. A few of these are meant only for particular parts of the ceremony, and I have specified them below.
